“He played with a clarity of touch and strength of rhythm, including just the right amount of expansiveness, allowing the music to bloom within the acoustics of St. Paul’s Cathedral.”

       The American Organist

I am a harpsichordist and organist, specializing in the music of Bach and the Baroque Period, but also performing the music of later periods as well.  I have concertized throughout the United States and Germany, and have taught at colleges in eastern Pennsylvania.

As a performer, I strive to balance my musical instincts and abilities with what I know about the performance practices of the period, as I seek to enliven the music for the listener.

As a teacher, my goal is to encourage students to find their own individual way of approaching the music they play, helping them to give voice to their own musical instincts.
