The MarX Gallery exhibits work by emerging talent in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area and abroad. Established in 2007, the gallery is committed to featuring challenging and influential contemporary art in all media. The gallery also aims to provide a space where its creativity and material bond together.
Art Machine, Inc. is housed on the first floor of the Marx Gallery. It is a non-profit art organization whose mission is to foster the creativity of young people of all backgrounds and to broaden the viewer’s perspective on art and world cultures by:
■ Providing a hands-on participatory environment for youth arts expression.
■ Creating opportunities for collaboration among young people, artists, educators and partner organizations.
■ Integrating the arts into the classroom curriculum, which utilizes cross-curricular criteria.
■ Exhibitions of local, regional and global art by young artists. |
